Poplar Bluff man aquitted in murder

A Poplar Bluff jury has acquitted a man of a murder charge stemming from a shooting in June of 2010. The charge had been filed against Thomas Evans Junior, who has sent the last 14 months  in jail waiting for his trial. He’d been accused of shooting a man to death in a car. Evans had claimed the shooting was self-defense.
