What would have been a brief session for the Senate early this morning turned into an almost hour-long message from one of its members that he will fight the Aerotropolis bill.
After the Senate Jobs Committee sent the Aerotropolis and MOSIRA bills to the full chamber, the Senate met to accept the Committee reports on those pieces of legislation.

The Senator called for a quorum by roll call. That was at about 12:50 a.m. It took nearly an hour for enough senators to come to the floor, with several having been awakened so that a quorum could be reached, meeting the requirements of Senate rules. Once that happened, the body adjourned.
