The Chiefs finished the preseason 0-4 losing at Green Bay 20-19 with most of the starters playing into the fourth quarter. However, quarterback Matt Cassel, tight end Tony Moeaki, right tackle Barry Richardson and safety Eric Berry were injured in the first half.

Cassel left the game in the second quarter when the wind was knocked out of him by 340 pound lineman Howard Green. Cassel says he’ll be fine despite team docs looking at his right shoulder on the sidelines.

Vic So’oto was a one man wrecking crew for the Packers. He sacked Cassel on the Chiefs’ first possession on a third and six, then forced Jamaal Charles to cough up the ball on their second possession. Later in the second half, he dropped back into coverage and picked off Tyler Palko and took it back for touchdown.

Cassel and Palko each threw touchdowns. Dexter McCluster caught a 10 yarder from Cassel and Dwayne Bowe had a two yard grab from Palko, both coming in the second quarter. Bowe finished with eight catches and 85 yards.
