Governor Nixon tells the Federal Emergency Management Agency it needs to let disaster areas of Missouri know what recovery projects are going to be delayed by FEMA funding shifts. The agency says it is stopping aid to some Missouri projects so it has cash to handle victims of Hurricane Irene.
Nixon has sent a letter to the agency calling for it to provide “certainty and clarity” to Missouri’s disaster areas.
