Independence woman accused of hate crimes for burning mixed man’s home

A federal grand jury accuses an Independence woman of burning a bi-racial man’s mobile home because she didn’t want him in her neighborhood. Seven charges have been filed agaisnt Teresa Whitthar accusing her of violating the man’s civil rights. The indictment lists two un-indicted co-conspirators.
