Student suing Webster U for not teaching him ’empathy’

August 29, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

A former Webster University student says he was thrown out of the school’s masters program in family counseling because he wasn’t showing enough empathy. Ex-student David Schwartz of University City is suing the school for at least $3 million because it didn’t help him reach an acceptable level of empathy during his field work.

Webster University is not commenting.
