Housing Development grants tax credits to rebuild in Joplin

The Missouri Housing Development Commission is granting $109 million dollars in tax credits for rebuilding rental housing for low-income Joplin residents who lost homes in the May tornado. The plan also includes the St. Louis area that was hit by an earlier tornado and includes tax breaks for homes for people with physical and mental problems.
