The fire chief says he’s never seen anything like it … and he’s been fighting fires for 30 years. A Pop Tart is listed as the cause of a house fire in the central Missouri town of Eldon. Fire officials say one of the things apparently didn’t “pop” in the toaster, got jammed inside, caught fire, and the fire spread. Fire damage has been confined to the kitchen although the rest of the house got smoked up pretty badly.
