The Mayor of Kinloch faces 15 to 21 months in prison for using $35,000 in city money for personal expenses including payment of income taxes, as well as Caribbean cruises, and a Florida time share.
Mayor Keith Conway has held the job for 12 years but is expected to resign soon. The city attorney says impeachment proceedings will start if he doesn’t. Conway had claimed the money he took was owed him in salary. He continues to live in a house owned by the city.
