The University of Missouri’s Columbia campus has set ten new enrollment records.

The University says more than 33,300 students have started the fall semester, four percent more than last year. Officials say the university has the largest freshman class ever, more graduate and professional students and its biggest population of Hispanic and black students.

The students are paying the highest tuitions in school history. For in-state students, it’s more than $260 per credit hour. For out-of-state students the rate has hit more than $685 an hour.
