A judge has dealt a blow to the charter schools movement in Kansas City that could force some of the schools into bankruptcy.
The judge has ruled the state education department has erroneously diverted millions of dollars from the Kansas City public school district to charter schools. The ruling could affect 14 charter schools in Kansas City.Â
The ruling could be appealed.
