An inmate at the Cameron prison has been charged with killing a Kansas City man 30 years ago. Investigators have matched DNA from the killing in Kansas City in 1980 to DNA used as evidence in a robbery case that has put Terry Pettus in the prison. An accomplice in the murder case was shot to death in his car in 1991.
