Governor Nixon has made official his call for a special session of the legislative session, to begin September 6th.
He outlines several tasks for lawmakers; chiefly the passage of a bipartisan jobs bill and tax credit reform legislation. He is also calling for bills to move the state’s Presidential primary, shift government of the St. Louis Police Department from the state to the City of St. Louis and to authorize tax credits to help attract amateur sporting events to Missouri.
