The small school district of Brashear in northeast Missouri is going to have to give a big chunk of money to the Knox County school district. The County Clerk says a miscalculation by her predecessor led Brashear to get $80,000 in utility tax money that should have gone to Knox County. The Kirksville Daily Express reports the LaPlata district got about $12,000Â more than it should have gotten.
