Tigers picked for 21st in AP football poll

The Missouri Tiger football team was picked 21st in the first AP football poll.  Oklahoma was voted number one with 36 first place votes.  Alabama was second with Oregon third.  LSU and Boise State round out the top five with all top five receiving first place votes.

Texas A & M and Oklahoma State are the only other Big 12 teams ranked ahead of Mizzou.  They came in 8 and 9 respectively.
