Chiefs first round pick injured in a fight

August 19, 2011 By Bill Pollock

Chiefs wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin, a first round draft pick, will miss the rest of the preseason after injuring his wrist in a locker room fight with veteran running back Thomas Jones.

The team is not saying much, but some reports say it could be over the work ethic of Baldwin. Sounds like Jones, being a leading veteran of the team, may have confronted Baldwin, and things got out of hand.

Again, this is all speculation from what I’ve been able to pick up from my sources. Nothing is confirmed on the origin of the fight.
