Allen Craig homered twice, went 4 for 5 and had three RBIs and Yadier Molina picked up three hits as the Cardinals managed one game out of three in Pittsburgh with a 7-2 win over the Pirates. The Brewers won their 19th game in 21 tries to remain seven ahead of the Cardinals.

Kyle Lohse, now 11-7, picked up his 99th career victory by pitching seven innings, allowing two runs and five hits, with seven strikeouts and a walk.

Craig hit a two run homer in the first and Molina added a single off Pirates starter Paul Malholm to grab a 3-0 lead. Lohse who has struggled recently in early innings, loaded the bases, but got former Cardinal Ryan Ludwick to line out to Craig.
