A group of little league all stars from Webb City saw their dreams of playing in the World Series end in Indianapolis on Thursday night when they lost 7-2 to a team from South Dakota in the Midwest Region semifinals.
The team from the Harney Little League in Rapid City scored five first inning runs off Webb City ace Brady Smith. Smith later left in the game when on his 80th pitch, a curveball, the youngster fell to the ground grabbing his elbow.
