More than 100 police officers have joined mourners for the funeral in Springfield of Highway Patrolman Don Ivie. Ivie was killed July 31 in a 2,500 foot fall from the Grand Teton mountain in Wyoming.
Ivie’s 12-year-old daughter told the audience the last thing she told her father was “I love you.” She urged mourners to always make sure loved ones know they are loved.
