Chiefs get TE Moeaki back on the field

August 9, 2011 By Bill Pollock

The Chiefs took TE Tony Moeaki from the Physically-Unable-To-Perform (PUP) list and the second year player from Iowa is able to take part in workouts.

on Monday, Moeaki joined the team during the morning walkthrough before putting on pads for the afternoon session. Moeaki missed nine practices and seven walkthroughs.

The Chiefs would not say why Moeaki was initially placed on the PUP list on July 28th. Moeaki missed one game in 2010 after suffering a concussion at Denver (11/14).

He started all 15 games he played in and set a Chiefs rookie record for receptions by a tight end with 47 catches for 556 yards.
