Two Missouri servicemen have been confirmed as being among the 30 U.S. soldiers killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. They are 31 year-old Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan Nichols of Kansas City and Matt Mason of Kearney, a member of the Navy’s Seal Team Six.
They were killed when their Chinook helicopter was shot down in the Wardak Province of Afghanistan, Saturday.
A complete list of names of the US military men and women killed in that incident has not been released.
