The Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied the Governor’s request to extend their debris removal program in Joplin.
Governor Nixon will be in Joplin this afternoon to outline a plan for picking up where FEMA has left off.
Nixon says Missouri has contributed 60 thousand volunteers, but 75 days was just not enough time to get the job done.
