Brewers bomb the Cardinals

Cardinals newcomer Rafael Furcal hit a three run homer in the second inning and drove in four runs, but the Brewers bats came to life in the later inning against new Cards pitcher Edwin Jackson rapping out 10 runs on 15 hits in a 10-5 win this afternoon at Miller Park.

Casey McGehee was 3 for 4 with five RBIs hitting three homers off Jackson, who gave up a total of four. Albert Pujols who got hit in the wrist last night, played, but went 0 for 4. The deficit is back to 3.5 games in the division.
