Missouri teen and daughter taken from Kennett found in Tennessee

August 2, 2011 By Mike Lear

A Missouri teenager and her daughter were among seven youths that have been found safe with their abductor in Tennessee.

Authorities suspect 16 year-old Ashley Burse and her 3 month-old daughter, Ava, were taken by 51 year-old Terry Nichols from a Wal-Mart in Kennett. Nichols is the elder girl’s uncle and father to the infant, according to officials.

Two of the other children found with Nichols were the subject of an Amber Alert out of Tennessee.

Nichols was found in Obion County, Tennessee sitting in a van with the seven children, waiting for a bank to open.
