Several Missouri law enforcement agencies were among 77 that have been hacked into by an anti-computer security group. Among them is the Missouri Sheriff’s Association.

Personal information for over 7000 law enforcement officers may have been jeopardized. The hacker group, called “Antisec,” claims the information includes usernames, passwords, social security numbers and more. It also claims to have a list of hundreds of anonymous informants and internal police academy training files.

Antisec says it will release that information and is demanding charges be dropped against defendants arrested for being part of the hacking group known as “Anonymous.” The FBI arrested 14 people in July for alleged connection to that group.

The FBI confirms it is aware of the most recent attacks on law enforcement agencies, but will not comment beyond that.
