August 1, 2011 By Mike Lear

Owners of a Columbia nightclub have been arrested on suspicion of welfare fraud, violating gun laws and promoting prostutiton. Police who raided Peppers Nightclub say they found bags of used condoms, a prostitution logbook, several guns and receipts indicating misuse of food stamps.

The Boone County health department has closed the nightclub until it complies with department standards.
