A man awaiting trial for alleged sodomy in Southwest Missouri’s Taney County has been found dead in his jail cell.
The Taney County Sheriff says 18-year-old Shon Zachery Smith — who is from Mabelvale, Arkansas — used strips of cloth from a towel tied together to hang himself.
Smith had been there since November … he’d been charged with Felony Statutory Sodomy with a child under the age of 12.
