Chelsea Thomas and Rhea Taylor with ties to Mizzou softball will join Team USA as they go up against five other national teams in a round-robin format, in the softball World Cup. Play begins Thursday, July 21 at 7 p.m. CT. The two teams with the best record will face each other in a winner-take-all championship game, beginning Monday, July 25 at 8 p.m. CT. All games will be televised on ESPN.

Thomas pitched in six games and had a 3-1 record with one save and a 1.57 ERA during a tournament that just wrapped up in British Columbia, Canada. Taylor finished the tournament hitting .406.
