City Aldermen in the southwest Missouri town of Willard are expected to vote tonight on a measure to allow them to carry guns to council meetings.
Alderman Ed Simmons proposed the measure. He says aldermen have been threatened. The law would include the mayor and city clerk.
City leaders would have to pass a weapons course and get a permit if the measure were approved. It would take effect immediately.
