Springfield Attorney’s daughter suing mother for his death

June 29, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Testimony in the wrongful death lawsuit centered around prominent Springfield attorney Rolland Comstock is underway. His daughter took the stand talking about her mother’s anger over Comstock’s gay lovers and the fact she felt slighted out of a big house and money after the divorce.

Comstock’s daughter is suing her mother, accusing her of taking part in his shooting death four years ago at his home. No one’s ever been charged with the crime.

Testimony consumed most of the day Tuesday. Comstock was found shot to death in his home near McDaniel Lake four years ago.  His daughter says her mother played a role in his death. She claims her mother was jealous.
