More high winds…and more rain have hit north Missouri including many areas that already are battling flooding.

High winds hitting the Macon area have overturned five recreational vehicles and blown a small building about 15 feet up into a tree. Northeast Missouri’s Lewis County reports widespread damage including several mobile homes destroyed and other structural damage.

Some flash flooding is reported.

The heavy weather that spread across north Missouri overnight has caused some property damage, some flash flooding, heavy rain and hail, and some power outages. A tornado appears to have briefly touched down in a rural area near Maryville in northwest Missouri. Another possible funnel was reported near Macon but there are no damage reports from that.
