The failure of a southeast Missouri lawyer to show up for a client’s criminal trial this week is only the latest of a series of problems she has had. Attorney Lisa Dawn Coatney of Sikeston already faces allegations of professional misconduct. She is accused of making false or reckless statements about the integrity of a couple of judges, of trying to disrupt court proceedings, and of intimidation. The complaints against her eventually will be heard by the state supreme court
