Kansas City Chiefs tight end Leonard Pope saved a six year old boy from drowning in a swimming pool. Had the NFL not had the lockout, Pope would have been in Kansas City attending to OTA’s. Last weekend he was a hero.

He was at a party at a friend’s house when he heard his friend screaming that her son was drowning in the deep end of the pool. Pope was the only person at the party who knew how to swim and jump in clothes, wallet, phone and all to save the little boy.
