First round junior golf championship results

June 10, 2011 By Bill Pollock

The first round of the Missouri Women’s Golf Association Junior Championship at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, MO has concluded. MICDS standout Caroline Rouse is in the lead by two shots over Jordan Chael of Overland Park, KS. Lindsey Eisenreich of Fenton trails by three and Norwood’s junior champion Gina DellaCamera by four. The hilly course felt longer today in the heat, and the greens were speedy leading to higher than normal scores from the players. In the 14 -15 year old group, Taylor Hayes of Lake Ozark shot a 91 to take the lead in that division. The final round will be played tomorrow with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. Please visit www.mowomensga.org for final pairings and tee times.
