The Mizzou baseball team fell 10-9 on a walk off homerun by Texas A&M’s Andrew Collazo in the bottom of the 10th inning in the Championship Game of the Big 12 Tournament on Sunday afternoon at Bricktown Ballpark. The game was a back-and-forth affair as Mizzou had a 9-8 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth inning and had A&M down to its last strike in the frame. The loss ends the Tigers’ season at 27-32 overall.

Mizzou had a 6-0 lead before A&M made it a ball game. Texas A&M scored five runs in the third, and added two more in the fourth to take a 7-6 lead. The game went back and forth from there. Texas A&M came back and scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning to go on top, 8-7.

Mizzou scored two runs in the top of the ninth to take a 9-8 lead. But A&M tied it after Phil McCormick tallied two outs and got Gregg Alcazar down to his final strike. But he hit a slow chopper over third to score the game-tying run from second. That set up the walk-off shot for the Aggies in the 10th.
