With their backs against the wall, the fifth-seeded Missouri softball team pulled out two straight wins over DePaul on Sunday afternoon, sending the Tigers to their fourth consecutive NCAA Super Regional round with a 7-3 victory followed by an 8-0 run-rule in six innings.Senior Rhea Taylor led the offense with a home run in each game, going 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI in the opener before following that up by going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI in game two. Redshirt sophomore Chelsea Thomas earned victories in both games, capped off by a six inning no hitter in the championship, her fourth no hitter of the season and eighth of her career.

Missouri will host No. 12 seed Washington in the NCAA Super Regional round. Dates and times of the next week’s games are still to be determined. This will mark the second straight year that the Tigers have hosted the best-of-three Super Regionals.
