Former Chiefs lineman Shields voted into CFB Hall of Fame

May 18, 2011 By Bill Pollock

Longtime veteran Chiefs offensive lineman Will Shields was voted into the 2011 College Football Hall of Fame. Shields played his college ball at Nebraska in the late 80’s early 90’s. He was just the second offensive lineman to play as a true freshman at Nebraska in 1989. Before his career was over, he was a consensus All-American, a Lombardi finalist, an Outland Trophy winner…and now a hall of famer.
