A Joplin man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for clubbing another man to death with a baseball bat. Aaron Pilgrim, who says he intended to hit Ralph Ivy during a fight but didn’t intend to kill him, has accepted a plea bargain instead of facing a trial that could have put him away longer.
