Famously obscure restaurant in St. Louis closing

It seems impossible for a business to survive without a sign or without a listed telephone number. And after 113 years, that situation has caught up to Beffa’s Restaurant in midtown St. Louis. The restaurant does have a Facebook page … and has announced it is closing on May 27th. It’s been serving food and drink to the famous and powerful in St. Louis since 1898.
