A northwest Missouri man has been seriously hurt when he crashed his pickup truck while trying to get away from a Highway Patrol trooper. The driver, Mitchell Schnitker, has been taken to the Nodaway County jail after treatment at a Maryville hospital. He’s charged with drunk driving.
