The Missouri Baptist Spartans came into their NAIA regional as the number two seed, but now face elimination after losing their first round game 8-3 to Culver-Stockton. Beau Baker, the team’s DH went 4 for 5 and drove in all three runs in the ninth inning. C-S had a 1-0 lead until they blew the game open with three runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh. Missouri Baptist must win Friday morning at 11am against Indiana Tech. If the Spartans win, they will play Shawnee State at 6pm.
