Missouri has some $4 per gallon gasoline and a lot of stations that are bumping against that threshold. A consumer-reporting website reports the highest regular gas in Missouri was $4.15 a gallon at a station in Kirkwood, with many stations in the St. Louis area selling it at $3.99.
The lowest prices are in the Cape Girardeau area — $3.53 to $3.55 a gallon.
The statewide average is a little bit more than $3.84, more than 8 cents below the national average.
