When your school district shrinks from more than 115,000 students to only 24,000, you have a lot of buildings no longer in use. The St. Louis School District sold some of its 43 vacant buildings for $12 million dollars in the past eight years and is selling more now. It’s listed ten properties for sale including three former elementary schools. The district hopes to raise $9 million from those sales.
