Copper thief John F. Martin admits he stole about 900 pounds of copper wire from AT&T in Bridgeton and sold it in Illinois. The phone company says it cost $30,000 to $70,000 to replace that wire. The prosecutor says Martin will have to make restitution to AT&T and serve at least a year in prison.
