Chimp owners fined for damage to police car

The owners of a Kansas City chimpanzee have been fined and told they have to pay for the damage the chimp caused when it got loose last year. The owners of the chimp have been fined a combined $750. They have to pay more than $1,500 damage the chimp caused to a police car.

The chimpanzee is now held at the Kansas City Zoo. Ownership remains in dispute.
