An Ellisville woman who shook a baby girl so badly in 1994 that the girl died in 2007 has been sentenced to 14 years in prison. The St. Louis County prosecutor says this is Kelsey McGinnis’ second offense. The two-month-old girl she was caring for17 years ago was shaken so badly that she suffered severe brain damage and has spent the rest of her life blind and unable to talk, feed herself, or walk.
