Nine equals 27 for a St. Charles man — a ninth DWI arrest means 27 years inĀ  prison for Louis Adams. Adams already had finished a long-term treatment program before he was released from prison on probation. In January, his car hit another one and he fled from the scene. When he was caught, a field sobriety test showed he was drunk.Ā

Adams also has six previous convictions for driving with a revoked license.
