Kinder regrets leaving keys in car

April 26, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Lieutenant Governor Kinder says he regrets leaving the keys in his car while he was in Cape Girardeau, because somebody stole it, used it to ram a gun business, and then torched it in a field near Cape Girardeau. Kinder says the car has been reduced to a cinder. A man has been arrested and charged with vehicle theft, tampering, and attempted burglary.
