Fromans indicted in grain fraud case

April 25, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Gallatin grain dealer Danny Froman and his wife have been indicted on five federal charges of bank, wire, and mail fraud, along with conspiracy and interstate transportation of stolen goods. The indictment charges the Fromans defrauded 110 farmers in the Gallatin area out of more than $3.1 million.

It’s the second biggest grain fraud case in Missouri history.
