A good night of waiting for the St. Louis Cardinals as a two hour rain delay does not stop them from beating the Cinncinnati Reds, 4-2.

The game would start on time, but after 3 batters, the skies would open.

Kyle McClellan, who was supposed to start the game but was scratched right before game time, would get the win.  After the rain and storms, which did include a tornado warning, he would throw six innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits.

Albert Pujols would drive in 2 runs.  Ryan Theriot would have three hits and would score twice.

Chris Carpenter will try for first win of the season when he takes the mound this afternoon.  The Reds will go with Travis Wood.

St. Louis Cardinals game time is 3:10.
